UPdecors Commonly used handmade carpet materials
Acrylic fiber
This is a fiber carpet, which is the most cost-effective handmade carpet material. It feels similar to wool, but does not fall off as easily as
wool. It is easier to clean than wool and does not fade easily.
Chinese Wool
Many wool carpets on the market are made from Chinese wool, which is cheaper than New Zealand wool. The feel of the two is the same.
New Zealand Wool
Natural New Zealand wool carpets have good elasticity and will not deform even if stepped on frequently. They are also excellent in terms
of anti-fouling, warmth retention, and durability. In addition, New Zealand wool itself contains nitrogen, which can form some non-
combustible gases during the combustion process, so new wool has a certain flame retardant effect. The disadvantage is that it is easy to
shed.
The above three materials are matte and feel hard. The following four materials are glossy and feel soft.
Bamboo Silk
Bamboo fiber is relatively "glutinous" and its resilience is not as good as the above three types, but it feels excellent, very soft and
comfortable, and has good gloss.
Cotton Silk
It feels softer than rayon, but large carpets are prone to shedding.
Rayon/Synthetic Silk
The glossiness of rayon is better than that of cotton, but it is more expensive
100% Natural Silk
100% natural silk is very expensive. Most of the silk carpets on the market are synthetic silk. Natural silk is rich in 18 essential amino acids
for the human body, non-irritating to the skin, and the color of silk is brighter than all other artificial silks. It is recommended for wealthy
people with children at home. The finished product has collection value
